International Sustainability Leader Development Research

Dr. Jody-Lynn Rebek, Dr. Teryn Bruni, Dr. Kira Jade Cooper, and several research assistants collaborate with international scholars and businesses to conduct this cutting edge research.

The IO Initiative is an international research project with the goal of achieving change towards regenerative sustainability. We are facing many global challenges in our world today, and leaders need to be equipped with the inner capacities to navigate these challenges effectively, lead transformational change, and foster community resilience in our ever changing world. In order to do so, leaders need to develop their psychological flexibility, empathy, and ethical grounding. The purpose of this research is to initiate the training and development of Inner Development Goals (IDG’s), and see if it enhances mindful leadership abilities in relation to regenerative sustainability.
